A Boho Beach Wedding at The Cushman House Block Island
It has been years since I’ve been to Block Island, I haven’t actually gone there since I was a kid and we took a Girl Scout day trip to the beach! I hardly even remember that trip, but I will always remember this one. Katie and Seth were planning their wedding for 2020, when 2020 had a mind of it’s own and forced so many couples to cancel and re-schedule. Thankfully I was available for their new date and ready to sail away!
The Cushman House is a beautiful historical Victorian home with a wrap around porch and sweeping views of the ocean for as far as you can see! Down a path of flowering trees, a White Way of Delight if I must say, the path to the beach rolls up a dune to the ceremony site on the beach. From the scene decorated with gorgeous florals from Painted Rock Flowers and rentals From Uniquely Chic Vintage, to the perfect temperature and shining sun, this really was the best day ever!
I love a good first look, and Seth’s reaction to seeing Katie in her wedding gown was definitely one for the books. We then snuck away for some seaside portraits and so the couple could see their ceremony set up before the guests arrived. The day was full of love, laughter, friends and of course their adorable doggies! Congratulations again, Katie and Seth, and thank you for having me sail away with you!

A Beautiful Backyard Wedding in Boston
Jamie + Jordan are MARRIED!
And what a beautiful backyard wedding at Jamie’s family home! OMG did I love this wedding! From Jamie’s dog to the beautiful backyard FULL of gorgeous flowers, the all of the love and joy (and awesome dance moves!) shown by their family and friends.
These two met while working for the Military in Virginia and going on group motorcycle rides, and have been together for about 6 years. He was shy and said no the first time she asked him out! But of course he changed his mind! Though deployments separated them for 6 months, they moved in together and rescued 2 dogs (one of which you will see pictures of on here!) and got engaged in Costa Rica!
I loved all the personal and meaningful details they put into their wedding day. The Fall colors, flowers, family signs and decor in the barn were so perfect. It rained while we were doing the couples portraits at a super cute local park, but we used an awning to make it work at a historic home that was the prettiest colors!
Congratulations Jamie + Jordan, you guys were so much fun!

Felicia and Chuck are MARRIED!! It was a warm and sunny day at the end of September when you would think Fall would be in the air but this felt more like a summer day! The Barn on Bensons is tucked off a quiet country road in Massachusetts and had the most beautiful and elegant vintage details from the bridal suite to the reception space. These two are just so adorable, full of love, joy and appreciation that I was sad their big day was over but full of joy while I drove home! Before the wedding even started, Felicia gave me a hug and was like “I love my wedding! I love my wedding vendors!” and as someone who puts her heart and soul into her small business, that meant the world to me!
The whole day was special, but my favorite part of the wedding was Felicia’s Dad telling stories of her childhood where they wrote and recorded music together. This made the Father Daughter dance that much more special when the song cut out to a track Felicia’s Dad wrote and recorded for her! I cried! How amazing!

Massachusetts Institute of Technology MIT Boston Wedding
The wedding of Meltem and Matthew took place on the loveliest June days on the shores of Boston. With a gorgeous color palate of whites and greenery (and a touch of sparkle and flair!) this wedding just screamed classic, elegant and luxurious. These two met on the tennis courts (that sadly don’t exist anymore) at MIT so what better place to hold their wedding ceremony than right in the common area! Meltem and Matthew are probably the most infectious gigglers that I’ve worked with! They were all smiles, laughs and funny all day, who couldn’t have a good giggle over the silly looks they were giving each other. I love to tell couples to be themselves for this reason, this is who you are and how you react to each other, it’s absolutely adorable!
The ceremony seemed to be over in a flash and guests flocked to the cocktail hour while I went to check out the reception space. This is definitely one of the most beautiful rooms I’ve ever seen! The interior space was decked with the most beautiful floral arrangements with floral greenery running down the center of the table.
From the first detail to the sparkler exit, and to all of the laughs and smiles, Congratulations you two!

To say that Jenn + Dave’s wedding was one of my favorites would be an understatement! Not only are they two of the kindest and genuine people I have ever met, but Jenn adores the light and airy color palate, rustic charm and chose the coolest vendors imaginable! The whole day was organized to perfection, but helllooooo mac and cheese bar (that the staff at The Barns were sure that my second shooter Christina and I got a serving of at the time of day when we’re about to drop from starvation!) and that magnificent bistro wall and donut bar!
Jenn + Dave were ready to have a joyous celebration with their family and friends. Jewish traditions were worked into their ceremony including Kipa’s for all, the breaking of the glass at the end of the ceremony and of course The Horah! And boy was everyone ready to dance, the dance floor was packed all night!
I couldn’t have been more thrilled to celebrate this beautiful day with this awesome couple. Congratulations Jenn + Dave, wishing you a lifetime of JOY!

Glastonbury Country Club Connecticut wedding with soft greens and whites
It was a warm summer Saturday in July, with dangerous thunderstorms predicted across most of Connecticut. It had already rained a little on our way to Glastonbury, and everyone was a little worried storms would ruin the gorgeous outdoor set up in front of the gazebo. But just before the ceremony was about to start, the chairs were dried and the clouds loomed further away. As much as I love a good first look, Christian’s reaction to Abba walking down the aisle and seeing her for the first time in her wedding gown was just PRICELESS! What love was in the air!
Right after the touching ceremony, clouds coming in hot, we got right through requested family formals and breezed through some fun couples portraits. As soon as we got them inside and started setting up for the grand entrance and dancing, the skies lit up and rain poured down for hours through the giant floor to ceiling windows of the reception room. What a show, and what luck it held off for all of the outdoors celebrations!
Congratulations Abba and Christian! I wish you a lifetime of happiness (and whisky shots)!

A Summer Country Club Barn Wedding at Blissful Meadows | Uxbridge, Ma | Christine + Jeff
Hello to the new Mr. and Mrs. Pilipaitis! Christine and Jeff (and Jet!) had such a beautiful wedding at Blissful Meadows Golf club in their new and modern charming barn! I just love these two and their love for each other. I ran into Christine coming to check out the decor set up in the barn and we walked to the bridal suite with her and her girls to get ready. Jeff nervously awaited the first look as everyone got ready and had the BEST reaction of tears and joy to seeing Christine in her wedding dress! The entire day was full of joy and whispers of “I can’t believe you’re my husband!” Their love was infectious! It’s clear that these two (ok Jet I see you, it’s three!) are made for each other.
This was my first time at Blissful Meadows, even though I’m very familiar to the Uxbridge, Massachusetts area. What a gorgeous venue, and I felt right at home! The barn was bright and airy with open sides to let in lots of light and air (it was HOT). The ceremony was right behind the barn with a beautiful archway and lots of shade for the best lighting during the ceremony. Right next to the ceremony site was the PERFECT spot (light!) for family formals and the start of couples portraits. We then took a golf cart over to the cute bridge for a change of scenery before the reception.
Christine, Jeff and Jet, thank you so much for choosing me as your wedding photographer! I loved every minute I spent with you on your wedding day with your amazing friends and family. Here is a little peak into their day!

A June Wedding at Belle Mer | Newport, RI | Newport Wedding Photographer
I truly believe there is nothing better than a joyful celebration with friends on the shores of Newport, Rhode Island to make a wedding memorable. Newport boasts luxury venues, such as Belle Mer, gorgeous sunsets and views, and delicious food. Cynbol and Greg were married but wanted to throw the biggest party in the best location with all of their family and friends from around the globe. No detail was left untouched, from multiple bridal gowns, to the delicious Ben + Jerry’s Ice Cream bar (I made sure to get some!) to the gorgeous florals and uplighting. It was lovely to see the joyful celebration of so many friends and families uniting, and to hear the stories of how they met, and the both of them growing up.

Lake Pearl Wrentham Wedding | Rhode Island Wedding Photographer | Heather and Connor
When I say I end up with a lot of clients as friends, Heather and Connor are no exception! What fun we had at this wedding at the gorgeous Lake Pearl! The start of summer wedding season and beautiful weather was upon us. I was so excited to get to the bridal suite and give Heather a big hug and exclaim over her gorgeous dress! We headed to the garden gazebo for their first look. Heather’s excitement as she snuck up behind her groom was infectious as were their adorable looks of joy as they exclaimed over one another in their wedding finery! Though it was a little breezy, the ceremony was absolutely gorgeous on the shores of Lake Pearl, with boaters yelling congratulations throughout the day!

Providence Public Library Wedding | Danielle and Kyle | Rhode Island Wedding Photographer
Danielle and Kyle have the cutest story of “how we met” that I think I have ever heard! Danielle was living in Providence when Kyle moved to the apartment above her. When he moved in he was looking for some string, and happened to knock on Danielle’s door in his search. What a surprise for him that he had just met his future wife!
We had their engagement session in Providence, since the city is so special to them, and it’s no surprise they chose to tie the knot downtown as well. The Providence Public Library boasts historic details and luxurious marble finishes, along with stunning floral arrangements which made the perfect backdrop for Danielle and Kyle to celebrate their love!

Blush Ballerina Wedding Inspiration | Newport Rhode Island Wedding Photography at Queen Anne's Loft
As a dancer myself, if you could ask me to envision my dream wedding, this would be pretty close to it! There is something about the elegance and grace of a ballet dancer, surrounded by blush and glittery details that makes a dreamy wedding come to life. Especially when your Bride brings her pointe shoes, loves to get dressed up and fits the role perfectly! Roger Williams Park Casino Wedding | Jeanette + Mike | Rhode Island Wedding Photographer
There are a few times in your life when you meet someone truly special that encourages you and makes you feel like you can take on the world. That’s how I always feel leaving Jeanette’s Yin Yoga class! I have been doing yoga for some time now, but as a teacher she is just amazing! I have some commitment issues with fitness classes but hers I would never miss! Before class we would sit and have some girl chat, and she would tell me about Mike and his amazing boys and how she couldn’t wait to have a family with them. So I was super excited and honored when he popped the question and she asked me to photograph their wedding!
The night before their November wedding we were supposed to get a dusting to an inch of snow. Well that turned into SIX inches (I measured!) and along with the Fall colors remaining the grounds of Roger Williams Park outside the Casino were just gorgeous! After an intimate wedding ceremony inside the Casino, Jeanette and Mike were adventurous to run outside with me just before sunset to capture some unique “snowliage” couples portraits. I was so happy to be able to capture this special time in their lives as they get married and are expecting their first little boy together. Congratulations Jeanette and Mike!!
